Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) is seeking an experienced East Coast Site Lead who has in-depth knowledge of workplace and lab operations with well rounded real estate project management experience to lead Facilities projects across the East Coast region. This is an internal-facing position that will link the current and future needs of employees with Real Estate, Construction, and Facilities teams. In addition to building new offices and expanding existing sites, this role will provide strategic support to Site Leads and Office Managers.
Understand the FRL culture and values and how it translates into the workplace and built environments.
Represent users across multiple sites in the development of specialty spaces within offices including labs, testing environments, demo rooms, etc.
Program new office builds based on team growth and specialty space needs. Then, partner with Facebook Workstreams and Project Managers to meet tight milestones, timelines, and drive to completion.
Improve project visibility by increasing communication, coordination, planning, and execution across Facilities teams and business partners.
Partner with engineers to understand requirements and to prioritize these needs throughout the development of the project.
Balance technical requirements with standards, budget, and schedule to deliver projects.
Coordinate with Workplace Planning, Workplace Design, Real Estate PM Team and other Facilities teams to balance standards with all other requirements.
Ensure project roles and responsibilities are clear and prioritize alignment across all Facebook and FRL contributors. – Coordinate with key partners (Finance, EHS, Facilities, Planners and Real Estate Projects, Culinary, Security, etc.) to balance standards with all other requirements and deliver new and Day2 projects.
Communicate project and timeline risks to leadership along with trade-offs to maintain trajectory.
Prepare project correspondence and presentations, as needed for status reports, executive updates, meetings, annual planning, etc.
Manage and run team meetings, with diligent follow-up to provide a comprehensive set of live data at all times.
BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Program Management.
5+ years of project management and strategic planning experience with corporate real estate and construction.
Experience with technical labs construction or operations.
Leadership experience with experience building relationships with cross-functional teams across all levels of the company.
