Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) is seeking a Training Specialist to develop, enhance and standardize environmental, health and safety (EHS) training programs and initiatives. This position will work with subject matter experts (SME) and the FRL EHS Training team to coordinate the development of EHS training courses using Articulate Software and use Cornerstone as the Learning Management System to publish, maintain, assign and track EHS training courses. The ideal candidate has strengths in instructional design, building partnerships with SMEs to create technical programs, excellent communication skills, strong coordination and project management skills, and the ability to move fast in an ever-changing environment.
Plan, execute, manage and monitor training programs as well as learning and development activities from conception to implementation
Manage and maintain the FRL EHS Training Project Dashboard
Develop training classes in training software such as Articulate, create and maintain training matrix, and edit course content
Partner with contributors to revise trainings before formal launch and support the EHS’s team efforts in streamlining eLearning and training classes
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure trainings are functional, technically accurate and launched properly
Set up and launch training assignments in Cornerstone based on current EHS Training Matrix and ensure custom Cornerstone training notifications are set up and deployed as specified
Provide relevant EHS communication(s) to site EHS teams and other platforms
Support document control and other functions, as necessary
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Journalism, English
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Dropbox
3+ years of experience developing e-learn courses
Experience with Articulate Software, SharePoint, Cornerstone (LMS)
Team player who is flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced company environment.
