Facebook is seeking a Facility Operations Program Manager to join our Bay Area Programs & Services team. The Bay Area Programs & Services team supports the Facilities Operations team at all Bay Area Facebook sites. The Facility Operations Program Manager will work with the Facilities Operations team to capture and align existing standard operating procedures with emerging industry best practices through process creation, improvements, maintenance, and document control necessary to facilitate the operating and maintaining of a scaling complex multi-vendor environment.
Procedure documentation and specifications, including version control, ensuring global consistency and adherence with organizational goals
Drive the development and ensure maintenance of internal playbooks and all internal business operations procedures
Coordinate the capture, development, review and approval of all operating procedures with the Bay Area FacOps Team
Manage the document process to ensure all process documents are available to the operations teams
Audit procedures and processes for compliance to operations standards and adherence to quality
Act as project manager for local process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross functional teams to bring global initiatives to Bay Area FacOps team
BA/BS degree or 5+ years experience in Facilities program management, customer service, vendor management, operations, and/or technical documentation
Attention to detail and experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Demonstrated experience drafting for a variety of audiences, to include executive members, non-technical end users and specialized technicians
Proven drafting, production, and technical editing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Google Suite, SmartSheets
Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Method of Procedures (MOP’s)
Familiarity with Facilities, Security, Environmental Health & Safety, Janitorial, Real Estate, Engineering, Logistics operations.
