Facebook is seeking an experienced regional marketing manager to join the Gaming Partnerships Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the way Facebook can help developers and creators drive real-world outcomes using our products and services. They will be responsible for building geo-specific strategies against global goals, executing regional events and activations targeting the North American gaming developer and creator audiences and managing regional marketers based in APAC and EMEA/LATAM.This person will partner closely with both the developer and creator audience Vertical Marketing Managers and will be an expert at clearly communicating how and why Facebook products and tools can provide meaningful value to these audiences. They will be responsible for translating audience and product strategy into online and face to face events and activations that drive awareness, consideration, education and adoption of our products and services. This will include creating and tailoring collateral and various other forms of marketing content for online and offline use. We are looking for an experienced marketer and strategic thinker who can drive results and increase engagement with our partner portfolio. The person who fills this role will leverage communication skills, an eye for visually powerful communication, and the ability to work across a broad range of topics. This role will also closely partner with Product Marketing Managers to understand and then articulate our products and solutions to these audiences in the region. Excellent marketing, leadership, collaboration and cross-functional coordination are critical to success.
Develop outbound regional marketing strategies to support product launches, educate partners and drive adoption of Facebook developer/creator products in collaboration with Partnerships, Product, Vertical & Product Marketing teams.
Manage regional marketers and develop and grow team members in APAC and EMEA/LATAM.
Own the regional marketing budget, team priorities and oversee stakeholder relationships in each region.
Be able to deliver on a clear vision to show meaningful value of Facebook products & services to the gaming ecosystem.
Create compelling, integrated content and event activations for the regions: adapting audience narratives, messaging, presentations, collateral, videos, pitch decks as needed.
Become an expert in Facebook’s developer & creator products, partners and audiences.
Work directly with the Gaming Partnerships team to drive awareness, education, adoption, and positive sentiment with target audiences in North America through events and activations (face to face and virtual).
Identify and develop content, case studies and proof points for these priority products and programs.
Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams including Partnerships, Marketing, Policy, PR/Communications, Legal, Product, Design, as well as external partners and agencies.
Demonstrate strong understanding of the broader gaming ecosystem and competitive landscape. End to End ownership – own the lifecycle from brainstorm to brief to execution.
BA/BS degree.
12+ years professional experience in Regional Marketing or Product Marketing in internet and/or technology.
Experience in adapting outbound marketing messaging, positioning and narrative — online & offline for use in region.
Experience with B2B and/or B2C marketing activities, including partner enablement, online programs & events.
Demonstrated experience communicating complex, large-scale concepts clearly and simply.
Experience partnering with Product, Engineering & Partnerships organizations.
Experience communicating to a variety of audiences, particularly technical audiences.
Experience working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment.
Cross-functional, project management, and leadership experience.
Analytical experience, communication and effective time management skills.
Experience managing stakeholder relationships and influencing decisions across all levels of an organization.
Experience working in a cross functional environment across multiple time zones and teams.
