This manager position is directly responsible for managing 5 or more verticalized Team Leads within the Account Management team that is part of the Global Business Group. In this capacity, the Manager must leverage industry knowledge and digital marketing expertise to grow revenue through rigorous vertical planning while simultaneously coaching, developing, and motivating leaders of a fast-growing scaled sales team. This role will also responsible for working with cross-functional teams at Facebook to advance business strategy and operations for vertical(s) in their remit.Success in this position requires strong sales, people management, and problem-solving skills; a keen eye for identifying process and workflow opportunities; the ability to thrive in a dynamic, always changing environment; and a passion for helping others achieve results. Ideal candidates will have experience leading change within a fast-growing organization, in addition to having a vertically-focused sales and/or digital marketing background.
Manage 5 or more high-performing Team Leads across a single vertical or a cluster of several verticals, each Team Lead will have a team of 7-10 Account Managers who look after approximately 15 accounts each
Develop annual business strategy for vertical(s), deliver quarterly growth plans
Work cross-functionally within sales and other Facebook organizations in order to evolve vertical business strategy, revenue driving tactics and increase customer satisfaction
Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches and implementing with appropriate partners
Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies
Identify opportunities to improve ad products and the customer experience
Building top-to-top relationships with key accounts and supporting client relationships at critical moments (in person meetings, client calls, etc.)
12+ years marketing and sales experience
7+ years people management experience
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Strong leadership/management experience with experience building high performing cross-functional relationships
Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships
Experience performing well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment during times of growth and ambiguity
