Part of the wider Revenue Operations team, the new product Global Process Owner (GPO) is responsible for driving process excellence, leading process transformation and continuous improvement and managing the tools and technology roadmap for the Facebook global function.The New Product Accounts Receivable GPO owns process optimization & implementation globally. The GPO will be responsible for driving global standardisation & will partner closely with the regional managers to understand local nuances and requirements to build a strong global process framework.The GPO will also partner closely with Global Sales Group, Enterprise Engineering & Finance Transformation teams to develop best in class processes removing roadblocks and building scalable solutions.The New Product GPO must possess a strong understanding of operational and financial systems and solid Accounting awareness. This position will also be involved in a variety of cross-functional projects that drive operational efficiencies and enhance reporting and analysis for improved decision-making.
Develop the strategic plan and drive the global business process transformation roadmap for New Products, encompassing process, tools, controls by collaborating across geographies and business units to harmonize process requirements
Partner with enterprise engineering to consider and test platforms/tools and system enhancements
Take a data driven approach to recommend solutions to improve new product process effectiveness
Enhance reporting and monitoring compliance with global and local policies
Align key stakeholders on the direction of the global process for new products
Provide strong leadership and oversight over processes in a fast paced changing environment
Build strong collaborative working relationships with outsourced team and external business partners with a focus on driving efficiencies and improving levels of service
Measure and report on key performance metrics
Design & monitor process controls and oversee testing in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Maintain and document relevant policies and procedures
10+ years of international business transformation & accounting experience
Experience as a functional business owner working with finance systems
Experience working cross-functionally with IT teams
Communication with proven skills in consulting with internal business clients and external customers
Proven project management skills
Experience thinking strategically and connecting the end-to-end process to the strategy of the business
Experience communicating and collaborating with customers, partners and stakeholders across functions and geographies
Leadership capabilities evidenced by the experience gaining the trust of stakeholder, negotiating with influence and motivating a diverse group of stakeholders of varying levels
Experience driving change and improving the end-to-end processes with a proven track record in business process re-engineering and systems analysis
Demonstrated experience of data analysis, problem-solving and solutions development
Understanding of internal controls including Sarbanes Oxley compliance
