Facebook is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join their team! This individual will contribute towards adopting libraries, build systems, and dependencies on a new (non-posix) operating system.
The work will need to be completed on an open source core library along with all dependencies of the computer vision stack to make them work in this new system.
This Software Engineer will work alongside the computer vision staff, using multiple repositories to fix build systems and dependencies to bring up a Computer Vision stack (SLAM).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Design of portable libraries for Linux and Android.
- Strong knowledge of build systems. Preferably Buck or Bazel.
- Knowledge of version control. Preferably Mercurial.
- Experience configuring, building, and testing libraries for Linux and Android.
- Expertise in C++.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $93.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
