Facebook Sound Design is looking for an experienced Technical Specialist in Voice Production to join our award-winning team. Candidates should have experience in voice audio design and fundamental coding, a background in audio implementation is nice to have. A background in sound design or audio engineering is preferred, and an enthusiasm for innovative audio design is a must!
Lead and develop initiatives for a voice production team, including recording pipelines, testing and development plans, and vendorization efforts
Drive cross-functional communication, in order to collaborate with teams across a variety of disciplines
Contribute creatively and technically to prototyping and experimental dialog projects
Establish and maintain technical best practices
Drive future initiatives, internally and with cross-functional teams
6+ years of professional experience in audio engineering
2+ years of experience in scripting for automation systems
Proficiency in digital audio workstations
Experience in batch audio processing tools
Understanding of DSP and audio synthesis
Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams (6-8 people)
Proven communication skills
Python experience
Proficiency in Pro Tools
Experience in Reaper and iZotope RX
