Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program or project management.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) project or program management for consumer electronics (e.g., tablets, phones, notebooks).
Experience working in original device manufacturer (ODM), contract manufacture (CM), joint design manufacturing (JDM) models of product development and phase gate approach.
Experience with completion of multiple consumer products and shipping products.
Understanding of hardware product execution, such as manufacturing engineers (ME), partner domains (PD), industrial design (ID), Product Cost, and manufacturing or supplier operations.
About the job
As a System Program Manager, you will work with engineers, product managers, and engineering partners to get high-quality products built, tested, and released on time. You’ll coordinate moving parts and get them to come together as a product. You will ensure that product requirements are captured, manage cross-functional communication and technical dependencies with other Fitbit and Google teams, create the overall program schedule, manage resources, identify and mitigate risk at all stages, and define the overall rhythm and meeting touch points between teams. You will triage issues, lead focus during root cause analysis, and manage schedule and execution for New Product Introduction (NPI) products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$193,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Manage Fitbit development NPI’s, and lead the overall tactical execution and strategy of the team.
Lead a cross-functional teams to execute tactical solutions development risks and issues to meet system build milestones, cost, and manufacturability.
Lead product development processes and phase gate reviews with the cross-functional teams.
Develop and manage program schedules and resource needs with engineering and operations teams.
Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership. Lead resolution on technical issues.
