Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience translating product and technical concepts for non-technical and executive audiences
- Experience in product implementations, digital ad operations or technical sales
- Experience with SQL and Data Studio
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with advanced SQL (Internal: Tangle, Dremel, BigQuery) and Data Visualization technologies (Internal: Data Studio)
- Experience in deploying technical solutions, leveraging technology, automation, or digital transformation frameworks
- Experience with business-side web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with XML, HTTP protocols and one or more Object Oriented languages

As an Authoring Product Lead, you will own the relationship with Product and Engineering teams to simplify and scale the proprietary anchor authoring platform that serves sellers every year.
In this role you will provide sales teams, agencies, and advertisers with high-quality compliant collateral to accelerate Google’s Ads business. These tools are a centralized place where users can access collateral to drive data-driven decision-making leading to increases in customer adoption and business.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Engineering, go-to-market, and Author teams to craft compelling product features and platform improvements, conducting/partnering on research, and crafting annual strategy plans and roadmaps.
- Lead the development of anchor reports and pitches in the tool by overseeing the work of the Author team (DevShop) and reviewing their work to enable the content roadmap.
- Share guidance/best-practices with the ever expanding Authoring Community, and lead Author Advocacy for Connect Sales Collateral Authors spread across multiple teams and regions.
- Understand business requirements, and provide technical guidance and develop reporting tools and products in partnership with Global Sales Tools and Connect Sales Collateral teams.
- Identify and solve operational challenges proactively and creatively, through effective project management, and provide technical consultation to DevShop partners.
