Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of credit research experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience trading fixed income
  • Knowledge of financial markets
  • Ability to manage multiple ad hoc requests simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical/quantitative skills

Responsibilities

  • Support on-going portfolio management and analysis, including reporting, cash management, and compliance resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze positioning in the investment grade portfolio, and recommend adjustments to portfolio manager and trader.
  • Communicate with external managers to understand performance attribution, portfolio composition, and qualitative external manager commentary to derive insights to enhance Google’s internal portfolio management.
  • Monitor and document market developments and changes in external manager outlooks.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly portfolio establish and review process, and improve and streamline portfolio management processes, including developing analytical tools.
