Our team engages with developers across Google at internal conferences in groups and on internal developer portals. We advocate for developer interests and needs at Google. Our focus is to support Google’s infrastructure platforms and first-party developers who build applications for Google products.
In this role, you will lead a team focused on the developer tooling and workflow tools used by all developers working at Google, and build, test, and release tooling. You will work on increasing developer productivity with these tools and decreasing onboarding time.
You will write sample code, author client libraries, and work with strategic partners/teams to facilitate and organize our developer communities. You will connect with developers and speak about technologies on conference panels and in classes. You will help to create a community of developers within Google and drive strategy around developer relations. You will create codelabs, give trainings, and support developers to troubleshoot/debug technical problems encountered by developers. You will work closely with technical writers to help build and improve documentation for internal teams.
In collaboration with infrastructure teams, you will also work to improve products by conveying feedback from developers by reviewing and contributing to API designs, writing production ready code, and testing features.
