Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience developing documentation for a technical audience
- 2 years of experience with source code in two or more languages and writing for a developer audience
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical subject matter experts and stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading or managing technical writers, teams, projects, or work
- Experience writing content for an audience of software developers
- Experience with researching and writing effective documentation for engineers
- Experience in and understanding of a UNIX environment
About the job
In this role, you will work on the Analytics, Logging, and Experiments space in Core Developer. You will be working on documentation for products within the space.
You’ll will interact with cross-functional teams (e.g., software engineering, product managers, technical program managers, and other members of the developer relations team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project teams to understand documentation requirements.
- Design information architecture for complex documentation sets.
- Facilitate, edit, and curate documentation produced by product managers and engineers.
- Develop documentation content in partnership with technical staff.
- Advocate for users, and influence product design/implementation.
