Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience within the real estate, construction or utility/energy industries.
- Experience in conceptualizing, project planning, design development and project management of infrastructure-related projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree.
- Experience in infrastructure planning, navigating the municipal permitting processes to deliver infrastructure projects. Experience working with utilities and similar agencies.
- Experience in an innovative, fast paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and strategic skills in prioritizing evolving initiatives in a fast-paced world.
- Ability to produce and deliver executive presentations, produce project status reports, and communicate deliverable to all stakeholders and senior management.
- Professional Engineer (PE).

Google’s Global Real Estate Development team leads the design and construction of our offices, campuses and mixed-use neighborhoods. As a Development Project Manager on the District Systems and Energy team your focus will be on enabling the delivery of energy, water, and waste systems that take advantage of the scale of the development to deliver on Google’s impressive Sustainability goals. You will work with an incredible multi-disciplinary team of professionals to deliver impactful projects that will make a positive environmental and social impact in the communities where Google will build.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. Responsibilities
- Support Development Executives as an essential part of a small team leading large-scale development projects. Focus on infrastructure projects related to District Systems and Energy.
- Identify and scope opportunities to incorporate sustainability goals into projects that have been considered in a master plan and/or business plan.
- Assist in managing the strategy, execution, and innovation of delivery of Google’s Development Projects while coordinating internal and external team Project Management, Cost and Schedule Management, and Information Management.
- Help develop Project Charters for each development project clearly articulating the project vision, base building requirements and performance metrics, design principles, workplace objectives, budgets, and schedules.
- Support and manage internal communication and collaboration across our stakeholders, through reporting on outcomes, small working sessions, larger design workshops, senior leadership design reviews, and weekly team coordination.
