- Experience with automotive hardware
- Experience in systems design and architecture for hardware
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in hardware/firmware development
- Experience in the current and future hardware architecture in vehicles
About the job
On the Android Automotive team, as a Device Integration Lead, you will focus on bringing the best of Google into the vehicles. In this role, you will ensure smooth delivery and distribution of our reference platform to the core Android Automotive team as well as Assistant, Maps, and other Google properties who rely on this hardware to develop.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive day-to-day global operations of reference hardware including desktop units, vehicles, and lab deployment.
- Manage device health by tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving through direct and cross-functional work with internal and external partners.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs in regards to upgrades, hardware allocation, and support.
- Communicate operating and device status in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and deliver self-help tools and documentation including dashboards, documentation, and videos.
