In this role, you will support our teams on the east coast working on a range of topics, from libraries and codebase management to portable toolchains. We support Google developers operating on a codebase, and our future teams bring Googlers up to speed with common software development concepts and provide them with building blocks that enable Google’s large scale software development. They continuously improve the codebase through language updates, API improvements as well as optimizations that conserve tens of thousands of production machines. By pushing the envelope on large-scale refactoring tools and safety analyses, you will be responsible for keeping Google’s huge codebase maintainable and safe.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer.
