The Business Development team in Global Partnerships works with a wide range of external partners to help build Google products through product-enabling relationships (e.g., data licensing, content partnerships, API/platform integrations, and technology licensing). Our team is charged with helping our partners grow through a variety of ways, such as seeding content for Google surfaces, developing channel strategy, facilitating commercial terms, and developing go-to-market strategies for launches. We work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product and Engineering, Finance, and Retail Marketing teams internally, and with our partners’ counterparts across these disciplines.
In this role, you will lead a team with a mission to enable high quality app experiences for strategic partners in the mobile commerce space in North America and globally. You’ll help enable Google Play to serve as a daily destination to users, as well as a high performing marketing channel for partners, Android, and Google. You and the team will manage a cohort of retail, finance, delivery, and travel partners in North America and lead the Global program. You will be responsible for delivering insights, crafting partner business plans, sourcing industry best practices, and delivering on ambitious product and business goals.
You’ll understand the role of apps in multi-channel industries, such as retail, finance, and travel, as well as the strategic drivers of partners in these industries. You will also bring strategic acumen to be able to connect the dots between partners’ mobile strategy and Google’s product offering.

Our team provides meaningful solutions — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.
