Google is looking to transform health by empowering consumers and their caregivers with the information and tools they need for a healthier life. We are a rapidly growing cross-functional organization that combines machine learning, innovative product development, and engineering in a variety of healthcare areas.
Google for Clinicians is an information layer on top of traditional electronic medical record systems, that helps clinicians find and understand critical information, giving them insights about their patients, powered by our AI advances. Our goal is to become an enterprise suite for health systems looking to get control of their data and provide tools for their front-line clinicians and their back-office analysts, while creating interoperability and access to data for patients and their families.
Developing, deploying, operating, and scaling the system requires the creation of several key technical and business systems, including productization of the data platform itself, continued development of clinician-facing tools, investment and development of prediction AI systems, and the enterprise deployment harness needed to support and scale customers. As the Director of Product Management for the Care Studio team, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional executives to develop the core strategy, lay the plans for development and execution, grow a talented team, engage clients and the industry, and drive product success.
Google Health has made major advances in healthcare research, such as detecting eye disease more quickly and accurately than experts, planning cancer radiotherapy treatment in seconds rather than hours, and working to detect patient deterioration before it happens with electronic records.
Fundamental research is at the core of Google Health – the multidisciplinary team collaborates with partners to publish novel research in renowned scientific journals. They then work to apply this research into the medical field through clinical hardware and products developed in Google. Working alongside colleagues across Google, you’ll help make this vision a reality.
