Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of product development and management experience in the networking domain.
- 5 years of experience leading teams within technical program management or equivalent roles.
- Experience driving technical programs in network, compute and storage domains within Cloud infrastructure companies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries, building relationships, and importing/exporting talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
- Demonstrated expertise in solving complex system issues and technical innovation, ability and willingness to apply direct technical skills and technology to solve problems.
- Ability to demonstrate comfort with changing specifications or standards, creating the conditions in which the team feels comfortable and capable of responding to ambiguity by working through challenges.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills driving executional impact at scale.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.

As Director, Technical Program Management, Google Cloud Unified Infrastructure, you will drive our Network Infrastructure solutions across Google including Borg, Kernel, Data Center Networking, and support for Google Product Areas from Cloud to Search, Ads, Maps, YouTube, and beyond. Taken together, you will be responsible for technical program management of all computing and communication running on Google’s infrastructure and directly impacting the customer value and efficiency of this infrastructure. You will be responsible for partnering with Engineering and Product Management leadership to provide technical vision, driving strategy around solutions, and successfully executing technology development programs.
You will use your leadership skills, deep technical capabilities and capabilities for program management, mobilizing cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale and data-driven decision making, to launch and take to market solutions that accelerate our customers’ success for Google Technical Infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Set vision and execution of organizational direction for broad, cross-organizational projects across the Networking Infrastructure and Compute space.
- Partner with leadership in Engineering and Product Managers, ensuring Technical Program Manager (TpM) alignment with respect to priorities, providing oversight of delivery across the complete portfolio of Networking Infrastructure and Compute initiatives.
- Lead and inspire an organization of TpMs working on Networking and Compute infrastructure, with a goal of driving alignment amongst Engineering and partner organizations spanning the networking domain.
- Lead TpM team to streamline processes, simplify execution, manager goals, release on time, bring tooling efficiencies and help teams in execution.
- Build a healthy, scalable and growth-oriented TpM organization, forecasting resourcing requirements for TpM, while driving sublinear scaling at a rapid pace.
