Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of product operations management experience across organizations.
- 10 years of experience managing technical projects within core infrastructure including networking, storage, or computing.
- 5 years of experience leading teams within technical program management or equivalent roles.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering.
- Understand the complex relationship between the organization and its environment, identify connections, adopt different perspectives and respond to changing circumstances in a strategic way.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, bring talent/ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
- Comfortable with changing specifications or standards, with ability to create conditions for a team to be comfortable/capable of responding to ambiguity.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that drive executional impact at scale.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.

As the Director of Technical Program Management (TPM), Networking, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Systems and Services Infrastructure that will focus on the software services we build on the Google Cloud Platform. You will focus on setting vision and direction, enhancing productivity, quality standards, resolving systemic problems, identifying trends and implementing change are all keys to success.

Responsibilities
- Set vision and execution of organizational direction for broad, cross-organizational projects amongst Cloud Networking engineering organizations.
- Partner closely with senior leadership engineering and product managers to ensure Technical Program Management (TPM) alignment with engineering and product priorities.
- Provide oversight of delivery across the full portfolio of Cloud Networking products.
- Lead and inspire an organization of technical program managers drawn from several parts of the business, with a goal of driving alignment amongst software engineering and partner organizations spanning Cloud; build a healthy, scalable and growth-oriented TPM organization across multiple locations.
- Lead other TPM groups to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage Objective Key Results, release on time, bring tooling efficiencies and help teams in execution.
