Buildings and spaces at Google are aspirational. They are the physical embodiment of our culture and inspire our employees to deliver equally ambitious products and services. Our highest priority is to create an amazing environment where Googlers can thrive and be at their best every day.
The future of how and where work is done will transform radically over the next decade. Offices that were filled with desks in the past may no longer serve us in the future. Many of our legacy buildings and traditional office campuses may become functionally obsolete, unable to flex/support the new experiences, events, and team configurations that provide the social connections Googlers’ crave.
As the Workplace Experience Director, you will be responsible for partnering with our research and strategy teams evolving design solutions for the workplace environments that will shape the Google of tomorrow. This requires communicating Google’s vision to a wide range of internal and external audiences, as well as providing leadership to our teams of architects and designers who bring our buildings and spaces to life. As a subject matter expert, you will be instrumental in supporting our journey toward a hybrid workplace. An integrated People, Place, Tech mindset bringing industry expertise to Google.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work – from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.
Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
