Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 7 years of industry experience in library generation using Cadence Concept and Allegro
- 2 years of experience in layout design for rigid PCBs
- Direct experience working with DFM teams and CMs to dial in DFM requirements in library parts
Preferred qualifications:
- Library management and automation experience
- Experience in eCAD and 3D mCAD library symbols integration
- Strong PLM – EDA tool integration experience
- Direct experience in PLM tools such as Agile
- Siemens-NX Designer tool knowledge for mechanical symbols creation
About the job
In this role you will develop and maintain the ECAD library, which involves creation of schematic logic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D physical models and managing ECAD databases. You will be part of Google Pixel/Devices and Services hardware development team. You will develop complex library symbols with complete focus on accuracy and quality of library that meet DFM and IPC requirements. You will work independently and will collaborate across multiple Hardware Development teams across Google.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the ECAD library, which involves creation of schematic logic symbols, PCB footprints GPN’s, and 3D physical models and managing those ECAD library databases
- Manage EDA tools to be supported Cadence Capture CIS, and Cadence Allegro EDA tools
- Work closely with the Product Design (MCAD) team to integrate 3D Mechanical library symbols with ECAD library databases
