Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in a similar experiential marketing role
- Experience managing, planning, organizing and executing events from inception to completion, within budget
Preferred qualifications:
- Exceptional budget management, negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to strategize at a high level supported by applicable tactics, work smart in a fast-paced, high-pressure, high-growth environment.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
- Self-motivated, articulate, and possess excellent verbal, and written communication, and successful interpersonal skills.

The Events and Experiences team is part of the Google Marketing organization. This specialist team brings the magic of Google to life through physical and digital experiences that make our brand accessible, tangible, human, and shareable. You will collaborate across teams and departments to create delightful, one-of-a-kind experiences that leave a lasting impression.
In this role, you will help manage some of Google’s highest profile events in the US, including but not limited to press conferences, launch events, and experiential initiatives. You will develop event-driven marketing programs to support product marketing campaigns and will work across multiple products and internal partners (press, marketing, legal, business development, etc) to deliver results-driven “live marketing.” You will thrive under pressure, love to travel, and have a passion for event logistics, strategy and tactics.

Responsibilities
- Help conceptualize, produce, and measure event and or experiential marketing programs from experiential, non-traditional presence at events, online programs, and “live marketing” with PR/buzz amplification.
- Manage the event budget, event calendar, and landscape research for assigned projects.
- Manage event production including all aspects of event logistics from development of content, venue management, promotions and other event-related marketing responsibilities.
- Analyze programs for effectiveness; conduct post-event reporting and Return on Invesement analysis.
- Interact with and manage multiple vendors, partners, company executives and a wide range of functional groups within Google.
