The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team brings our spaces to life and oversees the daily operations of our buildings. You will be responsible for connecting resources across REWS to create amazing environments and experiences for our senior leaders and their extended teams. You facilitate strategic discussions across REWS’ business areas, including real estate, operations, finance, public affairs, and culture.
As a Facilities Manager, you will oversee aspects of facilities services and operations for a portion of Google’s Bay Area portfolio. Your management abilities, strategic thinking, and partnership skills allow you to ensure service delivery across functions, departments and businesses. You must be comfortable working in a matrix organization, building trust in difficult situations, getting buy-in and consensus from leaders with diverse opinions, driving decision making where trade-offs are required, and keeping information circulating so that REWS can grow coherently as Google expands. Your relationship skills will allow you to provide great support and partnership to help the client-facing REWS teams solve complex workspace challenges and achieve outcomes that exceed our client’s expectations.
