Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, economics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of relevant working experience.
- Working experience in a design, product management and/or operations role at a mobile apps or similar company.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience using SQL to retrieve data from large data warehouses, or excellent technical abilities, with a desire to advance skills in SQL.
- Experience working with data visualization tools to deliver results.
- Expert-level knowledge in one or more of the following areas: product strategy and roadmap development, app development (subscriptions, in app purchases and/or ads), user engagement (onboarding, churn reduction, reactivation, etc.) and/or CRM and Lifecycle management.
About the job
The Developer Business Growth team, AKA Growth Consulting, identifies business growth opportunities in strategic partners’ products and delivers strategic consultations enabling developers to identify optimum strategies to capitalize on the opportunities. We accomplish this via extended collaboration with developers in areas such as monetization, user acquisition/re-engagement, game economies, subscriptions, and more. Members of the Growth Consulting team are equal parts consultants, analysts, and product managers comfortable leveraging our domain expertise to transform data into information and presenting our findings to a room full of executives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze performance to identify areas for optimization and growth.
- Create and deliver presentations which communicate growth opportunities to product, analytics and executive leadership.
- Provide thought leadership through the creation and delivery of original strategy consulting materials enabling optimal capitalization on growth opportunities.
- Partner with developers during extended consulting engagements to assist with designing, executing, iterating and quantifying the impact of product improvements.
- Identify and unlock additional avenues of developer growth by partnering with internal cross-functional Play and Google teams.
