The Devices and Services Business Organization was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio and suite of services. Devices and Services Business Organization is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers, energy providers, and resellers globally, including the partnerships for products like Pixel, Google Wifi, Google Nest, Chromecast Ultra, and services like Google One, Stadia, and Google Fi.
The Sales Strategy team supports the Devices and Services Business Organization by developing, communicating, and driving a holistic global strategy that supports short and long-term goals tied to sustainable growth of Google’s Devices and Services business.
In this role, you will establish strategy metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards milestones and influence executive stakeholders to determine the most meaningful strategy metrics, relevant goals, and actions/opportunities to prioritize. You’ll build prioritization frameworks to make decisions and ensure our efforts align with our long-term goals, identify and connect the organization on cross-functional, cross-product, and cross-Google opportunities, and analyze partner/channel economics, identifying areas for improvements. You will build global playbooks for Sales teams to enter markets or business models, standardize how we communicate strategy with executive and broader organizations, and amplify, distill, and standardize how we communicate about strategic priorities with executives, positioning key asks. You’ll also partner with Program Management teams to ensure approved projects coming out of strategy decisions are properly scoped and resourced.
