The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
The Global Business Strategy and Operations (GBS&O) team provides insightful review, perspective and direction on the strategy and operating performance of Google’s global ads businesses. Your role comprises critical strategic and operational teams that accelerate Google’s performance including a go-to-market strategy and analytics, operational efficiency and productivity, Risk and Compliance, Chief of Staff team that supports Google’s Chief Business Officer and Ads Policy operations.
As the Head of Strategy & Operations, Ads Policy, you will lead projects and teams that impact Google’s efforts to maintain a healthy ads ecosystem. You are experienced at solving ambiguous business problems, influencing and challenging executive stakeholders, bringing a balance of strategic thinking and pragmatism in getting things done, as well as managing a high performing team. You will manage a team in GBS&O, collaborate with frontline sales, Policy, Ads Engineering and support teams, owning executive communications around mission critical initiatives for the ads business globally.
You have deep experience bringing structure to complex challenges, and moving seamlessly and efficiently from ideas to action. You are known as a team player who can work in rapidly changing industries, able to thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
