Google Works is a core technology team that enables Google to scale. We are a sub-Product Area within Corporate Engineering, and we partner closely with Google’s CIO and their office to build innovative products that inspire and enable Googlers (and Google) to be successful.
As a Head of Strategy for Google Works, you’ll play a role in driving product and operational excellence, and business impact for Works and Google. In this role, you’ll partner with executives across Works and Google to design the strategy, evolve our narrative, and lead delivery against our strategic projects.
You will bring together teams across Google’s functions to help the Works organization execute optimally. You will be a lead in building our business strategy and executing on cross-functional projects. You will find and share industry trends and influences, and then translate these insights into strategies and programs which can be executed by the organization to build products that delight Googlers. Above all else, you’ll focus on developing a strategy for organization-wide initiatives using an understanding of Google’s business and industry context to drive initiatives.

We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems.
