As a Hybrid Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, you will be a part of a global team that provides 24×7 support to help customers seamlessly make the switch to Google Cloud. When customers cannot resolve issues themselves, your job will be to ensure that we have the necessary tools and processes to resolve the issue.
You will troubleshoot technical problems for customers with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and when needed, coding/scripting. You will help drive the success of Google Cloud by understanding and advocating for our customers’ issues. This will include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours, shifts, or weekends. In this customer facing role, you will help agencies to deploy innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems using the latest Google Cloud technologies.
The Hybrid Cloud Services team assists with the entire hardware/software lifecycle, including planning, deployment, maintenance, upgrading, monitoring, and capacity planning. Our services are especially crucial for hybrid customer engagements where Google Cloud is delivering and maintaining infrastructure inside the customer’s on-premises environment. These deployments incorporate requirements such as disconnected mode, security clearance, sovereign, and geographical constraints.
