Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of Technical Product Management experience (i.e. creating strategic product roadmap(s) from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams)
- Experience developing Android products and/or camera technologies
- Experience driving the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
Preferred qualifications:
- Background or interest in photography or Camera technologies
- Data minded and comfortable digging into deeply technical discussions
- Interest in emerging technologies and how they can enable a better user experience
- Comfortable in ambiguity with excellent communication and relationship building skills

As a Lead Product Manager for Android Camera Platform, you will be responsible for a broad set of Camera products aimed at Android’s diverse and large ecosystem. You will be responsible for a few products aimed at developers, device manufacturers, and silicon vendors.
You will work on a variety of Android Camera products, including CameraX and the Android Camera Framework. You will help shape how the Android Camera Platform comes to life in the apps that utilize it.
Ultimately, our mission is to ensure that Android’s users have a great Camera experience, on whichever app or device they use.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute on Android’s Camera framework roadmap, setting the vision for camera technology across Android
- Define and execute on CameraX’s roadmap, offering a fast moving, easy-to-use library for developing camera applications on Android
- Work with Research in bringing the best of Google’s computational photography and machine learning technologies to Camera experiences across Android.
