Minimum qualifications:
- 7 years of product management experience with technical products.
- 3 years of experience in product management for platform products.
- Experience as an product owner for systems with queries per second (QPS) and strict uptime requirements.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making, roadmap/backlog management, and participation in multi-year planning.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with identity, user management, and/or security systems.
- Experience effectively working with multiple functional areas, such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing.
- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
- Knowledge of cryptography.

Identity Platform is part of the Privacy, Security, and Safety organization in Core. The Identity Platform team provides the reliable, scalable, secure authentication platform for all of Google. We are responsible for a high-volume account and credential system. An engineering team works to ensure the technical excellence and make sure Google is ready for the future of Identity.
In this role, you will be responsible for helping Google products succeed by understanding their strategies, and developing a strategy and roadmap to provide the Identity platform services.
You will be responsible for multiple Google-essential systems and projects, including accounts infrastructure, credentials infrastructure, and first-party developer tools.

Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability of Google’s identity platform by working with engineers to set/execute on technical excellence projects to ensure our systems remain up and available as Google’s user base continues to grow rapidly.
- Establish a multi-year goal for Google’s identity platform that looks ahead to consumer surfaces, ways of defining and managing digital identity, and higher global standards for privacy and security.
- Set product strategy and roadmaps to achieve the goal while responding to the needs of your product partners and partner teams in Privacy, Safety, and Security.
- Lead and mentor a Product Management team, design an organizational plan for providing appropriate levels of product managment support for an infrastructure-focused Engineering organization.
- Collaborate across organizational boundaries and work across functions and Product teams, and help develop a platform direction to help achieve their goals.
