- Experience managing multiple assignments simultaneously, working independently, and driving projects to completion with high attention to detail
- Experience working with large-scale operations in a technical environment
- Experience with increasing levels of responsibility and independence
About the job
Our team is a centralized Health function that helps coordinate Google’s health-related cross-functional projects, including alignment with the Health team’s own products. You will lead all team-wide operations and work with experts who are focused on a range of health-related topics.
Google Health has made major advances in healthcare research, such as detecting eye disease more quickly and accurately than experts, planning cancer radiotherapy treatment in seconds rather than hours, and working to detect patient deterioration before it happens with electronic records.
Fundamental research is at the core of Google Health – the multidisciplinary team collaborates with partners to publish novel research in renowned scientific journals. They then work to apply this research into the medical field through clinical hardware and products developed in Google. Working alongside colleagues across Google, you’ll help make this vision a reality.
Responsibilities
- Build an operational planning and execution approach, focusing on operational excellence.
- Design and implement standards to ensure quality and consistency across planning, execution, and operational processes.
- Act as a trusted partner to all parts of the Google Health Organization connecting ideas and enabling faster decision making and execution.
- Manage team resource planning to ensure alignment between priorities and resources by partnering with the finance team and across the whole health organization.
- Own and drive cross-functional, strategic programs and projects that emerge throughout the year.
