As Google’s global footprint grows, so do the operational complexities, compliance risks, and cultural nuances that are unique to the markets (sites, countries, and regions) where we work. To address these complexities, our Market HR team offers a structured, location-based approach for delivering HR support.
You will contribute at both on the ground and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative culture for the U.S. Google data centers. You have sound knowledge of HR programs, policies, and procedures, while offering a compelling voice around HR matters as it relates to the site(s), internally and externally.
This role will work seamlessly across multiple HR partners and business stakeholders to collaborate effectively and use their influencing skills to represent the needs of Google’s data centers to drive a “One Google ” experience between data centers and non-data centers. You will be responsible for framing the U.S. data center Market HR strategy while understanding when and how to appropriately escalate decisions or urgent matters.
You must be on site 3 or more days per week, and travel up to 35% of the time to data center sites.
