Minimum qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in an analytically-intensive role, such as business intelligence, corporate strategy, or quantitative research.
- Experience in data analysis and related tools and processes.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to support internal cross-functional business partners in business through handling their program policies related to consults.
- Ability to identify gaps/conflicts in existing policy framework, develop scalable solutions, and work to gain consensus across the organization.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed – with urgency. Trust and Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a member of the policy team responsible for implementing scalable business-side policies (e.g., Google Ad Manager, AdSense, AdMob, etc.).
- Drive innovation regarding processes and best practices for operationalizing policies across regions for team members. Assist in designing, implementing and documenting new policies and procedures that drive more efficiency, improve quality, and/or mitigate risk.
- Resolve policy escalations from external and internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Legal, Public Relation). Drive operational excellence in escalation response and produce meaningful insights to prevent escalations.
- Collaborate with other Trust and Safety teams, Product Managers, and Engineering to influence product decisions and prioritization and improve user experience for policy-related issues.
