gTech’s Product and Tools Operations team (gPTO) leverages deep user, operational, and technical insights to innovate Google’s Ads products into customer experiences that are so intuitive (or automated) that they require no support at all. gPTO partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.
The gPTO team at Google is made up of product and operational experts who play a critical role in Google’s success, acting as the lynchpin between the gTech customer care and professional services teams and Google’s product development organizations, ensuring that gTech is prepared to provide helpful customer service, and that our advertisers have excellent customer support experiences.
As a Product Area Manager, you’ll lead an organization of Product Technology Managers and Product Operations Managers who understand customer and gTech pain points, needs, and priorities and leverage deep product expertise to advocate for serviceability improvements. The team brings product insights to gTech forums and provides responsive support for gTech questions and escalations. As Product Area Manager, you’ll set and drive the team’s vision, ensuring they have the motivations, goals, and resources to successfully execute their mission.
The gTech Product Operations team collaborates with Product Management, Engineering and Global Product Leads, to proactively improve the serviceability of products by evaluating product readiness, identifying product gaps, and consolidating product feedback. We are the point of accountability within gTech to our product and sales counterparts for the success of the customer support experience.
Google creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech’s role is to help bring them to life. Our teams of trusted advisors support customers globally. Our solutions are rooted in our technical skill, product expertise, and a thorough understanding of our customers’ complex needs. Whether the answer is a bespoke solution to solve a unique problem, or a new tool that can scale across Google, everything we do aims to ensure our customers benefit from the full potential of Google products.
