As a Product Cost Manager in the Devices and Services Sourcing and Procurement Organization, you will serve as the single point of contact for all activities relating to the device level cost tracking, analysis, and reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating and driving cross-functional efforts to make sure that products progress through development and into mass production at cost and margin goal. Working closely with Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Industrial Design, Finance, and Operations teams, you will be the lead and focal point for cost.
As a Product Cost Manager, you will be deeply analytical and deliver easily digestible and actionable insight to leadership and cross-functional teams. You’ll be responsible for clearly communicating status, trajectory, and goals to all internal stakeholders. It will be your job to keep all teams engaged, focused, and pointing in the same direction on cost so that Google can ship great products.
