One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative and prolific engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world’s information. We’re responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
News plays a prominent role in society, and the web has enabled access to a wider variety of news sources and viewpoints than ever before. At Google we aspire to help people better structure and navigate this complexity, in line with Google’s mission to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.
The News on Search team is responsible for providing helpful results to Search queries related to news topics, with the broader goal of helping users better understand the news while supporting a sustainable ecosystem for publishers and journalists.
News on Search is part of the broader News team at Google, and we work closely together to enable high-quality, trustworthy news in any Google product.
