Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams (e.g., hardware, software, product engineering, marketing, finance, supply chain, legal, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience defining and launching devices/services or health related products.
  • Experience with consumer hardware development life cycles and ODM/CM working models.
  • Knowledge of the technical domain in health and/or devices and services.
  • Knowledge of computing, operating systems, and software application development lifecycles.
  • Ability to guide initiatives internally/externally and manage executives.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with excellent business judgment.

In this role, you will drive hardware and software collaboration between the silicon engineering and research teams across the company as well as the device hardware/software groups. You will define Google Health roadmap features.

You will work cross-functionally to assess and select the most critical problems to be solved and build multi-year roadmaps that intersect our long-term device strategy, and secure executive support.

Responsibilities

  • Define differentiated and compelling Google Health experiences and roadmaps that leverage Google’s hardware, software, and machine learning capabilities.
  • Influence, inspire, and lead a cross-functional team.
  • Collaborate with advanced research to create true differentiated health experiences in first-party devices.
  • Evaluate applications, use cases, proofs-of-concept, technologies and standards, and advocate for/against adoption based on silicon and system-level considerations.
