Google’s projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it’s your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is rapidly growing its global footprint and product offerings, while changing the way the world uses computing. Capacity at the right place, at the right time, in the right form is a prerequisite to meet customer needs, enable GCP business growth, and run our business efficiently. To solve this really complex problem at a global scale across GCP products and top accounts, we are building a customer focused capacity planning team with the goal of providing a consistent, predictable and collaborative capacity experience for GCP customers.
You are a program managers with passion, technical and business depth, excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse set of stakeholders ranging from sales, customer engineering, professional services organization, product, engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
You’ll own the GCP Capacity Experience for our most valuable customers. You’ll ensure large customers are able to scale quickly and automate for Cloud scale. You’ll improve visibility and reduce friction for GCP Customers and Sales, ensuring GCP’s regional sales organization is capturing business growth at margin.
