About the job
In this role, you will be a Program Manager in Google Cloud Professional Services (PSO), as a global business partner for the in-region/verticals PSO leadership responsible for delivering PSO solutions. Whereas each region is focused on delivering engagements for their own customers, there is a need to standardize the Google PSO engagement delivery at a global level by defining, developing, communicating, and improving best practices, processes, and assets for delivery excellence. You’ll be driving value back to the PSO regions/verticals/practices by providing scaled and efficient methodologies and tools to allow the field to manage cloud consulting engagements more effectively and consistently, gathering regional delivery experience and lessons learned and promoting them to global standards.

Responsibilities
- Support or lead complex, multidisciplinary projects. Manage project schedules, identify risks, and clearly communicate goals to project stakeholders. Keep all the stakeholders coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines as projects often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres.
- Develop consulting program management engagement delivery playbook (consistent procedures and best practices for PSO project delivery).
- Gather perspectives and input using appropriate techniques to build consensus, increase awareness, and increase adoption and compliance.
- Organize and conduct regular stakeholder meetings, and communicate summaries and action items.
- Put agreed-upon ideas and direction into action, ensuring clear oversight and accountability, and driving for clarity and speed of decisions. Monitor the effectiveness and progress of key initiatives. Lead select key initiatives collaboratively.
