Google’s projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it’s your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines.
As a Program Manager for Made for Google Accessories, you will be a key member of the product team that is building innovative accessories and companion products across a range of hardware categories. In this role, you will drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives, focusing on product and engineering design, development and launch planning, and product validation cycles.
You’ll manage cross-functional communication and technical dependencies with other Google teams, creating and driving the overall schedule, identifying and mitigating risk at all stages, and defining the overall rhythm and meeting touch points between teams including Engineering, Product Management, Industrial Design, Reliability, Supply Chain, Marketing, Packaging, and Sales. You’ll also be engaging frequently with our external partners to ensure products hit key milestones and ship on schedule.
Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.
