Developing innovative products and services that improve the lives of as many people as possible has been core to Google from the beginning. Through thoughtful collaborations and transformational investments, we are facilitating Google’s ground-up developments that embody our culture and inspire a new way of developing places. As an in-house development group, our team’s real estate expertise spans asset and portfolio management, transactions, urban planning and design, entitlements, development, construction management, and district infrastructure.
As a member of the Asset Management team, you will have the responsibility of maximizing the performance and value of a defined portfolio of commercial investment properties. You will be responsible for formulating and implementing a long-term real estate asset management strategy that optimizes financial performance subject to Google’s operational needs.
The emphasis will be to ensure value is created and added to each property under management, while balancing this objective with Google’s operational needs for occupancy, and the need to operate with flexibility while managing risk through the creation and implementation of sound asset strategies. In this role, you’ll drive and manage the property business strategy while working closely with various teams on execution.
In addition, you will regularly communicate with the Asset Management team and present recommendations on plan status, portfolio, and specific property performance, asset plans, lease analyses, and capital projects.
