Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of coding experience in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience in computer vision, graphics, or machine learning, or computational imaging.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in computer vision, computer graphics, image processing or computational photography.
- Experience in machine learning methods, especially deep learning.
- Experience applying ML techniques for video processing.

As a Research Scientist, you’ll setup large-scale tests and deploy promising ideas quickly and broadly, managing deadlines and deliverables while applying the latest theories to develop new and improved products, processes, or technologies. This team is working on the future of communications. A new effort in Project Starline to make breakthrough improvements in Meet video calls using computer vision and machine learning.

Responsibilities
- Work with researchers and developers in collaborative teams.
- Review existing literature, design data collection plans, and develop and optimize ML models for video processing.
- Work with advanced computer vision / ML techniques like deep learning, image translation and GANs.
