Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of relevant work experience (e.g. financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, and/or accounting).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, or similar environment.
- Experience using SQL or other data analytic tools to extract and manipulate data, delivered through dashboards.
- Ability to cultivate solid cross-functional relationships, work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, and drive operational initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with and influence management.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you’ll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You’ll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
The Global Customer and Agency Solutions (GCAS) Business Finance team is responsible for supporting the GCAS Sales teams and works with our global brand advertiser and agency customers to form deep partnerships which will drive growth in our business. Tracking business performance, understanding business growth drivers, and identifying opportunities are the core of our mission. We provide financial strategic insights to support leadership decision making.
You will help lead financial and analytical projects and provide deep analytical support to help sales teams understand the key levers driving their business. You will develop thoughtful and innovative ways to examine business situations, enabling you to provide new perspective on the business.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Google Ads Finance partner to the GCAS team and become a trusted advisor. Effectively manage and prioritize engagement with the team.
- Leverage and improve existing reporting infrastructure to deliver timely, flawless business performance reporting and forward looking analyses.
- Provide powerful insights about the Google Marketing Platforms and Marketing Partner businesses and the overlap.
- Manage some of Google’s platforms agreements.
- Partner with Finance and Business Intelligence Analysts who work with various global and local Google Marketing Platform teams.
