Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
- Experience with building and maintaining reliability for infrastructure and/or production systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 7 years of experience delivering high-availability, large-scale distributed systems
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.
- Experience in capacity planning and management or supply chain management.
- Experience in designing, building, and debugging distributed systems.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across teams of engineers focused on building a new platform.
- Define, iterate, and communicate team vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Collaborate effectively and navigate through organizational complexity to solve problems and drive cross-functional execution.
- Coach, mentor, and grow engineers on the team.
- Engage with partner teams extensively, influencing architecture, and roadmaps.
