Minimum qualifications:
- 7 years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or similar.
- Experience in international business, working across more than one market and currency.
- Experience with SQL and one or more other database, automation, or business intelligence function (e.g. R, Python, R, Essbase, JavaScript).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field.
- Experience with data curation, ETL and integration technologies and techniques, as well as related data analytics.
- Solid analytical work experience in high data volume environments in software, internet, media, or telecoms industries.
- Demonstrated experience of effectively partnering with technical, business, and operations colleagues.
- Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills combined with impeccable business acumen.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you’ll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You’ll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Ads Finance is part of Google’s Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) organization, providing financial/analytical support to Google’s business organization. Our work is integral to the operations and strategic decision-making of the commercial teams across all our advertising products. From understanding market and usage trends to exploring the productivity and returns on our various investments, the Finance organization is an important partner and adviser to the commercial leaders. In this role, you’ll work on a team that provides finance support to sales leadership and partner with the small and medium business segment executive and management team, driving decisions around resource allocation and business growth, and management.
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you’ll work with high-performing teams across Finance, Engineering, and Business Intelligence, along with key cross-functional Sales, Strategy and Operations partners to play a core role providing analytical, technical, and reporting solutions across Google’s key business functions.
You’ll work with the business in understanding their evolving requirements and with Business Intelligence (BI)/Engineering to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
- Build robust, scalable data pipelines, integrated datasets, and insightful visualizations.
- Own, drive, and deliver multiple analytical/infrastructure work-streams, both on an ongoing and ad hoc basis.
- Work with Engineering and Business Intelligence partners to help shape and drive the development of Google’s data analytics infrastructure, including data integration, reporting, machine learning, and analytics platforms.
- Work closely with multiple business partners and project stakeholders to shape and achieve the project goal.
- Contribute to the development of the team’s tools, skills, culture, and impact for GCS and Google.
