Google Hiring for Software Engineer III, Chrome iOS at Washington, DC Full Time
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- 2 years of experience in developing iOS mobile applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging.
- 2 years of experience with iOS or Android application development.
- Experience developing iOS and MacOS based applications.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with embedded/device systems, third party libraries for iOS, automated testing frameworks, mobile optimized websites, or mobile web browsers.

Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally to define and implement the next set of features in Chrome for iOS.
- Help get Chrome ready for the latest version of iOS, including implementing support for new OS features.
- Optimize applications to maximize speed and scale, factoring in mobile network latency and bandwidth constraints.
