Federated Security (FedSec) is a transition to a model in which Product Areas (PAs) are responsible for the adoption of necessary security processes, policies, and tooling in order to manage the security risks of their associated products and infrastructure. FedSec exists to engage, partner, align, and empower PA’s to strategically advocate their security maturity journeys in partnership with Security Engineering.
For this role, FedSec partners with Enterprise Infrastructure Protection (EIP). EIP protects user data by preventing attacks on Googlers, the systems they use and the infrastructure they rely on for access. The team advances the state of the art for security by building and motivating the creation of trustworthy computing infrastructure.
At Google, our users come first, and the Systems Infrastructure team is at the heart of that promise. We build the technologies that transform the way we think about doing business. Whether working on our cloud systems, researching the latest in computer technology or keeping Google’s internal systems humming, Googlers and users alike rely on us to keep things running. We’re back-end experts: protecting your privacy and ensuring your security.
