Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar environment.
- Experience in financial modeling and analytics.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in executing strategic and operational initiatives.
- Experience with return on investment, spend efficiency, consumer lifetime value, cost analytics, or similar with an analytical background.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional leadership.
- Demonstrated program management skills, distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills, and impeccable business judgment.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you’ll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You’ll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of Google’s fastest growing businesses. You will lead efficiency measurement, benchmarking, and other analytics spanning the larger portfolio of Google hardware products (Google Pixel, Google Nest, Fitbit, and others).

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Responsibilities
- Define an agenda of analytics and optimization projects, including but not limited to spend efficiency, benchmarking, and product portfolio prioritization.
- Drive projects from inception (problem definition, detailed research, and fact finding) to conclusion (recommendations to executive leadership).
- Partner with hardware finance organization and business leads to implement key recommendations, including creating/changing key business processes as needed.
