Minimum qualifications:
- 8 years of experience developing and growing partnerships within a mobile or a related industry.
- Experience working with partners in retail, finance, travel, or food delivery.
- Experience communicating with executives.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or comparable experience that highlights business.
- Experience working for a partner in retail, finance, travel, or food delivery on their mobile app strategy and/or in a start-up environment.
- Experience driving promotional and/or engagement strategies for apps, including digital advertising.
- Ability to think strategically, navigate ambiguity, and problem solve with limited guidance.

As the Strategic Partner Manager for Mobile Commerce, you will help build a team focused on a select portfolio of industry leaders in retail, finance, travel, and food delivery that are increasingly putting apps at the center of their commercial and consumer strategies. You will work with an assigned portfolio to advance business goals and Google Play’s strategic agendas, and help partners prioritize Android and Google Play. You will deliver product objectives and key results and help assigned developers provide a quality app experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead app developer partnerships with players in retail, finance, travel, and food delivery.
- Build best practices and work with Google Play’s technical and growth consultants to improve app quality for high-traffic user experiences (across devices, including mobile, tablet, large screen, and devices and services) to increase user engagement metrics.
- Serve as the counterpart to enforcement escalations by representing the global partner organization, developing and setting shared partnership vision, and developing long-term partnership agreements.
- Source content for Google Play across mobile and screen devices, and drive investment in Google Play and Android products, including link adoption, tablets, and devices and services to support growth.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders on partnership plans and with Google Play Marketing on publicity case studies, and represent the needs of these developers internally in partnership with Product Specialists and Program Managers.
